Passport: Need one!

Water: You can brush your teeth with it, but we recommend you DON'T drink it.  Most resorts and higher end restaurants have filtered water for drinking on site, so be sure to ask what is safe to drink or play it safe with bottled water.

Sun Tan Lotion: Closer to the equator equals a better tan, but also a stronger sun. There will be multiple pharmacies (identify as “Farmacias” in town) so please buy the SPF you need.

Money: 13 pesos equals approximately 1 US Dollar.

Electricity: Mexico is the same as the US so you do not need any adapter or converter...yay!

Wedding Attire: We're not mandating anything in particular, but think festive! The wedding is on a beach and we want to make sure everyone is comfortable. Men: It’s gonna be hot, so light weight gear is recommended --now is the time for linen and seer sucker. Women: The entire wedding will be on the beach/lawn so think flats or no shoes! It could also get a little chilly at night so we recommend bringing something to cover your shoulders!

Language Barrier: Are you nervous that the only Spanish you know is "Hola" and "¿Dónde está el baño?"? Don't be.  The locals obviously speak Spanish first, but you can easily get by with English. If you do, however, want to blow the dust off your high school Spanish skills, go for it! They welcome it!

Time Difference: Just a fun fact on Sayulita’s time zone: Sayulita is technically 1 hour behind Puerto Vallarta, but that got super confusing for travelers flying in and out of Puerto Vallarta. To make it easier, Sayulita made the decision to align its time zone with Puerto Vallarta. Just note that your phone may get confused and jump between time zones, so we suggest going old school and wearing a watch set to Puerto Vallarta time.

Golf Cart Rentals: The best way to get around Sayulita. If interested in renting one, contact Gabe at Pacific Coast Golf Cars and mention the Koplin/Furgiuele Wedding. The town and its surrounding can be rather hilly, so making sure you have the right cart set-up is important.  Gabe at Pacific Coast Golf Cars will recommend the type of cart you'll need based on where you're staying.
